We understand that finding a provider you trust can take time. If you’re already working with a therapist or other mental health provider outside of Spring Health, you may be able to invite them to apply to join the Spring Health network.
To use your sponsored Spring Health benefits, your provider must be active in the Spring Health network, and your appointments must be booked through the Spring Health platform.
Check Whether Your Provider Is Already in the Network
If you think your provider may already work with Spring Health, our Care Team can help verify this for you.
When you contact us, please share your provider’s:
- Full name
- Practice name, if applicable
- Email address or website, if available
- State or location where they practice
The Spring Health platform does not allow you to search for your provider by name directly, but our team can help confirm whether your provider is available through your benefits.
If Your Provider Is Not in the Network
If your provider is not currently part of Spring Health, you have a few options.
1. Invite your provider to apply
Your provider can apply to join the Spring Health network at: https://springhealth.com/providers
Joining the network is not guaranteed. Providers must complete Spring Health’s application, credentialing, and onboarding process before they can see members through the platform.
2. Ask Spring Health to reach out
If you’d like, you can share your provider’s contact information with our Care Team. We can pass their information along to the appropriate team to discuss joining the Spring Health network.
Please have your provider’s name and email address ready when you contact us.
3. Check your health insurance coverage
If your provider does not join Spring Health, they may still be covered by your primary health insurance or another benefit. Contact your insurance carrier directly to ask about in-network coverage, out-of-network benefits, reimbursement options, or private-pay costs.
4. Explore Spring Health providers
If continuing with your current provider is not possible, you can browse available Spring Health providers in your account. Spring Health offers access to a diverse network of providers across many specialties, focus areas, and care types.

Using Your Spring Health Benefits
Your sponsored Spring Health sessions can only be used for appointments that are:
- With a participating Spring Health provider
- Scheduled through your Spring Health account
- Completed after the provider is active on the Spring Health platform
Spring Health does not issue outside authorization codes, EAP codes, or retroactive approvals for care received outside the platform.
If your provider applies and later joins Spring Health, any sessions you had with them outside the Spring Health platform before their activation date cannot be reimbursed, back-billed, or deducted from your sponsored session balance.
To use your benefits with that provider, wait until their Spring Health profile is live, sign in to your account, and book your appointment directly through the Spring Health platform.
