At Spring Health, your comfort and autonomy are our top priorities. Choosing whether or not to record a session is entirely up to you, and we have designed the process to be pressure-free.
Your Care, Your Choice
If you choose not to consent to a session recording, the following will happen:
- No Recording: Your session will proceed as a standard, unrecorded session. No audio will be captured, and no transcript will be generated.
- Zero Impact on Care: Your decision will not affect the quality or availability of your care. You will still receive the same level of professional support from your therapist, coach, or medication manager.
- Provider Confirmation: Your provider may briefly check in with you at the start of the session to confirm your choice or ensure you didn't click "no" by mistake, but your decision will always be honored without question.
Flexibility for Future Sessions
Consent is not a "once-and-for-all" decision.
- Session-by-Session Control: You will be prompted at the start of every eligible session. If you feel comfortable recording one week but prefer total privacy the next, you can simply change your selection.
- Change Your Mind During a Session: Even if you initially say "yes," you can ask your provider to pause or stop the recording at any point if the conversation becomes particularly sensitive or if you simply change your mind.
