Yes, but only as audio—and only to support your care.
Audio recordings are used to create accurate transcripts that help your provider with note-taking and ensure they can focus fully on you during your session. Once the transcript is created, the audio is immediately deleted.
Your provider can access the transcript for 60 days. After that, a de-identified version (with all personal details removed) is securely stored for quality assurance purposes, in full compliance with HIPAA.
