What to Do if Your Adult Dependent Doesn't Receive Their Invite

Please note: Dependent eligibility varies by benefit plan. Not all sponsoring organizations include dependent coverage, and some may have specific eligibility criteria. To confirm whether dependents are covered under your plan, please review your Spring Health account or contact our team for assistance.

If you sent an invitation to an adult dependent (ages 18+) and they haven't received it, there is no need to worry. While emails can sometimes be delayed or filtered, your dependent can still sign up independently without waiting for a new link.

Step 1: Check Spam and Junk Folders

Often, invitation emails are mistakenly flagged by email providers.

  • Ask your dependent to search their Spam or Junk folders for any emails from Spring Health.
  • If found, have them mark the email as "Not Spam" to ensure they receive future appointment reminders and billing updates.

Step 2: Use the Independent Sign-Up Path

If the email is nowhere to be found, your dependent can create their account directly through our registration page. This is often the fastest way to get started.

As the dependent:

  1. Go to care.springhealth.com/register.
  2. On the Activate your Spring Health benefit page, select Activate as a dependent.
  3. Enter your legal first name, last name, and date of birth.
  4. Complete any additional information required during the signup process.
  5. If the system asks who you share the benefit with, provide the name and date of birth of the person who invited you to join Spring Health.

Troubleshooting Tips
  • If the system cannot automatically locate the benefit, the dependent will be prompted to submit a manual request.
  • If they receive an error stating that dependents are not eligible, it may mean your specific organization's plan does not include dependent coverage.
