How to Create Your Spring Health Account

Please note: Each person accessing Spring Health services must have their own account to provide legal consent to our privacy policies and HIPAA notice. This ensures your health information remains confidential and secure.

Setting up your Spring Health account is a quick, secure process that typically takes less than five minutes. Your account serves as your personal gateway to care—it functions as your secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) and is where you’ll manage your sessions, message your provider, and track your benefits.

For the best technical experience, please complete this process using a desktop or laptop web browser on the latest version of Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.

1. Visit the Registration Page

2. Identify Your Benefit

  • If your benefit is through a traditional employer or health plan: enter your work email address or the primary email associated with your health plan.
  • If your benefit is sponsored through Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts (BCBSMA), Independence Blue Cross (IBX), or TriWest: select “Insurance Verification”.
    • Note: Verifying your account may take up to 48 hours to complete.
  • If your company uses an identity portal (such as Okta, Azure, or Ping) for registration: select “Activate with single sign-on (SSO)”.
  • If you are a spouse or adult dependent: select "Activate as a dependent."
  • If you get stuck or are unsure which option to choose: select “Activate with name and date of birth.”

3. Complete Your Profile

Once your benefit is located, you’ll see a summary of your benefits on the left and your personal information pre-filled on the right.

  • Enter Demographics: Complete any blank fields, including your name and current physical address. This is required to determine which providers are available to you based on state or regional licensing laws.
  • Confirm Your Email: This is where you’ll receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and billing communications. You can update this later if needed.
  • Provide Consent: Review and accept the Spring Health HIPAA Notice and Informed Consent/Patient Responsibility Policy.

4. Complete the Initial Assessment

  • You’ll be asked a few questions about your current well-being. This brief clinical assessment helps us provide personalized provider recommendations tailored to your needs.

Managing Family Members

If dependents are eligible under your organization's benefit plan, you will see an option to add them:

  • Adult Dependents: You can send them an email invitation to create their own independent account.
  • Minor Dependents (0–17): You must finalize your own adult account first. Once completed, log into your dashboard, go to your settings, and add your child as a dependent.

Troubleshooting Sign-Up Issues

Error Message / Issue Next Step
“Benefit Not Found” Complete the verification form with as much detail as possible. Our team will verify your eligibility file and follow up via email within 48 hours.
“Email already in use” The email is already linked to an active account. Try resetting your permanent password or logging in via a web browser using a One-Time Password (OTP).
Dependent account link error If you accidentally used your own primary email invitation to set up a dependent's profile, contact us immediately to manually de-link them.
