What to Do if You Received an Account Deactivation Notice

Spring Health is a sponsored mental health benefit, meaning eligibility is tied to your affiliation with an employer or a specific health insurance plan. If you received a notice that your account has been deactivated or is scheduled for deactivation, it typically means our system has been notified of a change in your benefit and eligibility status.

Why Your Account May Have Been Deactivated

Your access to Spring Health may be impacted if:

  • Your employer or health plan may have updated their benefit offerings for the new calendar year.
  • Your health insurance health insurance provider or coverage tier has changed.
  • You are no longer employed with the organization sponsoring your benefit.
  • For dependents, access is tied to the primary member's ongoing eligibility.

What to Do Next

If You Believe This Is an Error

If you received a deactivation notice but do not believe your benefits or coverage have changed:

  1. Contact your employer’s benefits team or health plan administrator to confirm your eligibility.
  2. If they confirm you are still eligible, please reach out to our team so we can review your account and resolve any discrepancies.
If Your Coverage Has Ended or Changed

If your eligibility has changed due to a benefits update, change in employment status, or separation from your sponsoring organization:

  • You and any covered dependents may no longer have access to the Spring Health platform.

Maintaining Continuity of Care

Losing access to the platform does not necessarily mean losing access to your provider or care. If you are no longer eligible for Spring Health:

  • Ask your provider if they are in-network with your new health insurance plan, or contact your health plan directly using the number on your insurance card to find in-network providers under your new plan.
  • Speak with your current Spring Health provider. Many providers offer options to continue sessions outside of the platform via private pay or other insurance.
