Navigating Account Upgrades: From Age 12 to 13

When a child turns 13, their Spring Health experience evolves into our Teen Experience. This transition is designed to meet the unique developmental needs of teenagers while still allowing for collaborative support from parents or guardians. At this stage, the platform introduces more age-appropriate resources and specialized care options.

What’s New for 13-Year-Olds?

The "Teen Experience" provides tools that resonate with the challenges and milestones of adolescence.

  • Teen-Specific Assessments: Once a session is booked, the teen will be prompted to complete clinical assessments specifically tailored for adolescents, including the PHQ-A, GAD-7, and C-SSRS

    • Note: To ensure safety and proper context, these results cannot be downloaded by the teen or parent; they are meant to be reviewed together with a licensed provider during a session.

  • Specialized Providers: Teens gain access to a tailored network of therapists and coaches who specialize specifically in adolescent-related issues such as peer pressure, academic stress, and identity exploration.

  • Tailored Content: Members gain access to Self-Guided Care exercises and educational FAQs structurally curated for the teenage age range.

If your child recently turned 13 and their account has not automatically transitioned to unlock the Teen Experience, please reach out to our Care Team for assistance.
