Navigating Account Upgrades: From Age 12 to 13

When a child turns 13, their Spring Health experience evolves into our Teen Experience. This transition is designed to meet the unique developmental needs of teenagers while still allowing for collaborative support from parents or guardians. At this stage, the platform introduces more age-appropriate resources and specialized care options.

What’s New for 13-Year-Olds?

The "Teen Experience" provides tools that resonate with the challenges and milestones of adolescence.

  • Teen-Specific Assessments: Once a session is booked, the teen will be prompted to complete a clinical assessment (including tools like the PHQ-A for adolescents).
    • Note: These results are not downloadable and are meant to be reviewed together with a provider during a session.
  • Specialized Providers: Access to a network of therapists and coaches who specialize specifically in teen-related issues such as peer pressure, academic stress, and identity.
  • Tailored Content: Access to "Moments" exercises and educational FAQs curated for the teenage age range.
