Navigating Account Upgrades: From Age 5 to 6

As your child grows, their mental health needs change. Spring Health accounts are designed to evolve with them, moving from high-level navigation for toddlers to direct therapeutic support for school-aged children.

What’s New for 6-Year-Olds?

For children under 6, guardians may be able to create and manage an account on their child’s behalf. This allows guardians to work closely with a Clinical Family Care Navigator to identify and coordinate services tailored to the child’s needs.

When a child turns 6, the same child account remains active for both the child and guardian, but it is automatically upgraded. This upgrade introduces direct booking access to therapists, making it easier to schedule appointments as the child’s needs evolve. The goal is to streamline the experience while maintaining continuity of care and access to support.
