Please note: Dependent eligibility and access depends on the sponsoring organization’s plan and may vary by location, country or region.
Your family’s well-being matters to us. Whether a family member, such as a spouse, domestic partner, or child, can use Spring Health depends on how your organization has designed its benefits.
How Dependent Eligibility Works
Every organization chooses a custom benefit structure. Dependent coverage generally falls into one of three categories:
- Household eligible: Some organizations extend benefits to dependents even if they aren’t enrolled in your medical insurance plan. This is often a standalone benefit for everyone living in your home.
- Benefit-eligible or enrolled: Some organizations require dependents to be eligible for benefits or actively enrolled in your company’s health plan to access Spring Health.
- Grantor-only plans: Some organizations cover only the grantor, so dependents are ineligible regardless of their insurance status.
Finding the Right Answer for Your Family
Because every organization is different, we recommend these steps:
- Check with your benefit sponsor. Your organization can confirm whether your family members have access to Spring Health.
- Chat with our Care Team. We can look up your specific plan details, clarify who is eligible, and walk you through the steps to get them started.
