Important Notes for Switching Providers

  • One Provider at a Time: To support consistent and effective care, we ask that you work with only one provider at a time for the same individual concern. Working with multiple therapists on identical issues can lead to conflicting clinical guidance and may stall your progress.

  • The 24-Hour Rule: To avoid a late cancellation fee or a lost sponsored session, remember to manually cancel any upcoming, pre-scheduled sessions with your previous provider at least 24 hours before the appointment start time.

  • Session Balance Limit: Sessions already attended with a previous provider cannot be refunded or added back to your benefit balance. Your new therapist will seamlessly pick up your care using your remaining available sessions.

  • Maintaining Momentum: You do not have to "start over" from scratch. Your initial digital clinical assessment results stay securely attached to your profile, and you can share your established goals with your new provider to keep your momentum moving forward.

Upholding Our Care Standards

We are deeply committed to providing a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all members. If you are switching providers because your previous clinician acted unprofessionally, crossed boundaries, or violated our care values, please report this to us immediately. We take all member experiences seriously, and your feedback is essential to helping us uphold the rigorous standards of safety and care we strive for.
